The Laughing 9/11 Bombers- New Martyrdom Tapes Released

Click the little arrow above to read the article. A good friend of mine sent me the link.

Interesting.

There seems to be a growing number of these blokes. They smile and laugh because they are about to go to Paradise they believe. Men are always light- hearted when they are so convinced of the "rightness" of their cause.
I did notice one line that is oft overlooked- especially when people are making the "clash of civilizations" case, i.e.;
"Investigators have also puzzled over the fact that unlike the rest of the hijackers — most of whom were young SAUDI fundamentalists..."

I have already mentioned how SAUDI is the most fundamentalist nation on Earth- where NO-ONE has ever had the privelege of voting upon anything at all- where burka clad women are allowed outside only in the company of male relatives- where you cannot drive a vehicle unless you have a pair of testicles- where on Friday afternoons there are public beheadings and also where members of the royal Saudi familiy are considered great allies with the power structures of our own government. The point of me mentioning that was not to be contentious- but to observe the fact that this idea of a "clash of civilizations" or even a "clash of ideologies" does not fit into the framework of these relationships. My statements about "Operation Iraqi Freedom", back to the first stages of the invasion, have been that the war in Iraq is not about bringing freedom or democracy to the Iraqis- its about maintaining the balance of power and who dominates the region. The rest is propaganda and balderdash. My other thesis about how to quell the proliferation of terrorism is to stop participating in it. The Jihadists have singled out the U.S. and the west- and decided to take over the world in response to what they percieve as US in the west doing the very same things. At this point it doesn't matter what any of our opinions are. The ball is already rolling- history and future are being determined right now...the only thing we CAN control is how we are going to deal with it spiritually- and how we are going to determine and process "truth".

"Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, and with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7)
